In 2010, a few West Side neighbors came together to meet one another and discuss how to promote our Rocky Ridge neighborhood. Since then, Rocky Ridge Neighbors have grown into the largest neighborhood association in Youngstown!

We want a neighborhood with a distinctive and welcoming identity, while having a shared environment where residents could really get to know and help each other.

Our Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association, with its signature, charitable initiative of making and selling Mill Creek Maple Syrup, was recognized for making a difference in our community. Dominion Energy and Cleveland Magazine awarded us their 2017 Community Impact Award. A group of representatives received the honor at a special ceremony on March 10, 2018. Many residents volunteer countless hours toward this project year after year. It’s a great example of how friendly neighbors can do great things together.

We are so proud of our collective home and look forward to YOU becoming a part of our history. As we undertake various initiatives, there are ways to get involved with or even lead ad-hoc project committees. Whether we gather for meetings or social events, everyone has an opportunity to respectfully speak for and about their ideas to make our neighborhood a better place!
