NO CAR, NO PROBLEM

Alternative transportation to cars is the FREE public transit service provided by Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA). They operate various kinds of multi-passenger and ADA-compliant vehicles via fixed routes/schedules or by application for ADA All Access service.

Due to the main thoroughfares bordering Rocky Ridge, there are over 30 bus stops right in our approximately 2.5 square mile neighborhood alone! All fixed-route buses are outfitted with bike racks too. Get online access to their WRTA Rider Guide, maps, and schedules.

In partnership with other community organizations, Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association contributed a donation from its Mill Creek Maple Syrup proceeds to help erect this bus shelter on the Mahoning Avenue Corridor in 2018.

In recent years, efforts have been made to increase both pedestrian-friendly avenues in the city and encourage bike pathways for better traffic control and improved connections to the vast acreage of Mill Creek MetroParks. Rocky Ridge Neighborhood will benefit from these and other enhancements to our bordering Mahoning Avenue Corridor, including new traffic signals, signage, curbing, paving, and utility infrastructure.
